Back to trips
Tour #2 * : 250 KM along the blue see from Marseille to Lavandou and a small tour in the Maurs 's hill. Then back home by the Castellet road. A bit crowdy on the sea side in summer time, the inner road are less busy but the heat is on.In fact the best time are the nice sunny days in winter or spring.

Start: Marseille Vieux Port , go round the harbor and follow the direction Plage by the Corniche (road along the bay) , when at the David place (statue of David at the center), take left the Prado to the Stadium and follow right on the Bld Michelet direction  Cassis .
Go up the Ginest pass to Cassis on the D559
At Cassis follow D559 to  La Ciotat , Les Lecques, St Cyr,  Bandol , Sanary, Six Four, La Seyne
In La Seyne follow direction Toulon centre.

After the east exit of Toulon continu to Le Pradet with the D559
Then on the D559 follow Carqueranne and the D42 to Hyères Plage and the D42 to Salin d'Hyères
Reach the D559 by La Londe les Maures and le Lavandou

You can have lunch in Le Lavendou
Once done, direction Borme les mimosas(on the way back from Lavandou) by the D559 and D41 on the right
After Borme let continu the D41 to the Gratteloup pass
Cross the N98 and follow the D41 the reach the Babaou pass (splendid road!)
From the pass go down to Collobrière
Leave Collobrière to Pierrefeu by the D14 and D12
At Pierrefeu follow the N97 and D554 to Solliès Toucas
Follow theD554 up to Méounes where you take left the D2 to Signes


After Signes continu on the D2 to the Camp du Castellet
Then take the N8 to Cuges les Pins and Gemenos
In Gemenos take the way to Aubagne and Marseille.
