So you know it now , you leave Aléria by the north way to Bastia
with the N198 (large road with big traffic).
You will be at Prunete after a 24 km and you will then turn
left to the D71 and go for a 6 km to join Cervione and have your
coffee on a panoramic point of view.
You here starts to taste the marvellous stuff you gonna discover in
this trip.
You leaves Cervione by the D71 again in direction of St Andrea di colone
up to the Col d'Arcarotta after just 25 km.
You will enjoy the magnificient scenary before going forward to Piedicroce,
11km, and where you will be able to have a nice lunch brake in the
village.
A nice walk after lunch to the old village et church before starting
to Morosaglia.
You will make a little stop at the crossroad of the D71 and the D506
for a glance at the point of vue.
Then lets continue with the D71 to Morosaglia, the famous village
of Pascal Paoli, "père de la Patrie". This quiet village will help
you for another break. Half way thru the village, You will go left to the
D639 to Gavignano (Pierre, pastis with ice please!), Saliceto and San Lorenzo
(12km).
From San-Lorenzo follow D39 to Cambia, Carticasi and Bustanico. From
there you can take time for a trip to Sermano. In Sermano You will chose
, to continu with the D41 to the D39 at Feo, you then take left to Erbajolo
and right the D14 to Erbajolo again.
Else go back to Bustanico and follow the D39 to Favalello and again
up to the D14 that you will have on the left.
You then join Erbajolo. After a small stop you then continu with the
D16 which goes up to the Col de Casardo (1094m) for a nice stop
at the point of view. The road then continu down to Zuani.
To reach the coast and Aléria from Zuani, you will prefer the
Pianello direction, at the left when reaching Zuani. The road is not in
the best shape but the scenery is much more better. So go Pianello, Matra
Moita, Campi , Tox and you join Pianiccia. You then will be back in Aleria
and if the temperature is ok: Lets go for a bath!
